YTB and Royal Carribean

Royal Caribbean has taken a stand against faux travel agents. Royal Caribbean has made a contriversial decision to end sales partnerships with a handful of Travel companies they deemed deceptive. Though Royal Caribbean did not release the names of companies it axed, at least one--YTB was chosen. Its fair to say that YTB is not pleased with the announcement.

Ytb Traverus Florida

Hello, my name is Paul Hines and my first foray into the Travel world was in YTB as an affiliate, I figured here was a company well established in the Travel industry and seemed pretty solid to me, I never thought about the fact that I couldn't join was because of the big price tag and It didn't hit home until later on.

As I tried to promote and market YTB the first thing I noticed was that people got sticker shock over the $500 price tag, I tried to explain to the people that $500 wasn't really all that much to invest in for your own business.

They all told me basically the same thing, that I was right but I may as well be asking for $5000 and with the economy the way it is, they just didn't have it. After hearing this from so many people, I ran into a company called Traverus.

Their start-up cost was a fraction of the cost of YTB and their comp. plan was the best I've ever seen in any industry, the choice was easy, I moved over to YTB and was easily able to become an (RTA) or, referring travel agent.

The training is great and the uplines are informative, I think I'll stay.
